Room In The Desert- Grae

Ever feel like you are so alone you are in a room in the desert? Ever cry lots you feel separate from the rest of society? Well of so this song is for you.

Grae, the artist stage name for Emily Gifford, is a Alt-pop artist from Canada. She is making big waves across the music industry.
Having explored various pathways of Pop, Room In The Desert is a Psychedelic-pop song verging on indie-pop. The themes of the emotions I've previously mentioned are perfectly portrayed through lyrics such as 'is it bad I cry most days' and 'A room in the desert move through whatever' these show how you cry lots by the most days and how you feel like you are living alone in a room in the desert.  At the end of the choruses, Grae returns to this crying theme with the lyrics 'kinda like my cry most days' portraying how this emotion never ends.

Grae is a really sweet artist who tries to make as much time to talk to fans as possible as seen by her discord community (hi you lot)

You can catch Grae performing at the Junofest on 28th March and NXNE June  10th-14th as well as any other performances she posts on her socials (see below) you can also catch posts on her from her step mum Cindy Palmer and dad Guy James Gifford on their socials (linked below)
