Introducing Me

Hi all, 
Just a quick introduction into who I am and what this Blog is about. 

So this blog is about music I like and listen to. I listen to many different genres of music but currently prominently Country especially Indie Country. 

My name is Sophie. I run a few various Instagram accounts for fan edits. I love editing for these although it can be frustrating. I am a university graduate for Dance and Drama. I have done a course in Production Assistant where I learnt how to create Music Videos and I am in the process of creating my own self run production company focused on these. I have been dancing since I was about 7 or 8 years old. 

The first concert I went to was in 2010 and was called Rhythm Force and the main act was a rock band called Status Quo who my family loved. My most recent was Walk Off The Earth in 2024. For 2024 Walk Off The Earth, I had a VIP experience.

So yes as I said, this blog is going to be about music I love and ironic how I've titled this post Introdcing Me as that's one of my favourite Disney songs.

Ever wanted to disappear into the night and never be seen again? If you said yes then this song is wrote for you.  Mylie Taylor is a Canadian Indie Rock artist residing in LA. Lyrics hailing straight from personal experience. Mylie is a fantastic artist many people can relate to.  (Pic courtesy of @wotes.extraz on Instagram) Lyrics such as 'I'm crushed to dust  I can't get up  Lifе hit me  Like a semi-truck' portray exactly how Taylor felt when she lost her dad just FOUR days after her 16th birthday. She had a insanely close bond to her dad and he passed so suddenly (he was a public figure from a band so news articles state it was a natural cause)  Taylor calls all her fans her besties and the fandom really feels like a family. This song is a story and a half. Based off the artists own past long-term, long distance relationship.  Heather Carpenter is a Floridian Indie Rock singer based in Nashville Tennesse. She is also a record promoter for Capitol CMG Radio and was with Universal Music Group Nashville  In a Instagram post about this song, Carpenter, 25, states 'I wrote this song about the depressing period after saying goodbye while in a long distance relationship. The sadness I felt was so intense, I became obsessed with lucid dreaming so I could manipulate m dreams to dance with my distant lover in my sleep. Not educated on the serious risks and spiritual damage that can place from doing so (this was before I became a Christian), I started sleepwalking and having nightmares of feathered black figures pouring gasoline.
